My approach to psychotherapy is about cultivating a deep understanding and awareness of the way our minds work. Each individual is different. No one has lived the same life with the same story or the same set of circumstances. By understanding the way you think, act and protect yourself allows us to move towards the feelings that reside underneath. This integrative approach is built on a foundation of psycho-education, resourcing, containment and regulation so we can move deeper into processing, re-processing, and releasing and finally return to a renewed sense of calm. Book a call so we can connect.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidenced based psychotherapy treatment that was originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. EMDR therapy facilitates the accessing and processing of traumatic and distressing memories, and other adverse life experiences, in order to bring these to an adaptive, neutral resolution. EMDR aims to reduce the emotional charge elicited from these past events and change how these memories are stored and processed in your brain.
EMDR is extensively researched and is a supported treatment protocol in the pathway of recovery from trauma and PTSD symptoms. Research has shown positive treatment outcomes and growth for people experiencing disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, eating disorders, dissociative disorders and symptoms associated with PTSD.
After successful treatment with EMDR therapy, affective distress is relieved, negative beliefs are reformulated, and physiological arousal is reduced.

Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP) is an innovative approach to healing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. This powerful therapy combines the transformative potential of psychedelic medicines with a body-focused, relational approach to unlock deep healing. PSIP targets the autonomic nervous system, where many of our symptoms and unresolved traumas are stored, allowing for profound shifts that go beyond traditional talk therapy. By accessing non-verbal, implicit memories and frozen defensive responses, PSIP helps release long-held patterns and restore a sense of safety and wholeness.
Developed by experienced clinicians and researchers, PSIP draws on cutting-edge neuroscience and trauma theory to offer a comprehensive path to healing. This approach recognizes that our most significant wounds often occur in relationship, and therefore, healing must also happen in a therapeutic relational context. By combining psychedelic catalysts with skilled guidance, PSIP creates a unique opportunity to process and integrate difficult experiences that may have seemed out of reach. Clients often report feeling more alive, connected, and free from long-standing symptoms after PSIP sessions. If you're ready for deep, lasting change and to reclaim parts of yourself that have been lost or hidden, PSIP offers a powerful and transformative journey.

Resource therapy is a trauma informed psychotherapy based on the understanding that the personality is composed of different parts. The part that presents an issue in therapy is seldom the part that needs to change.
This approach was developed by Professor Gordon Emmerson, and aims to guide you towards an inner experience of coming into contact and dialogue with the various parts of ourselves, that are pathological in nature (eg, the anxious, frustrated, sad, lonely part) to the well-resourced parts (confident, capable, empowered, compassionate parts). This process brings the part that needs to change into the therapeutic process so that we can communicate with it compassionately and respectfully in order to work with it directly. Resource Therapy facilitates a deep awareness for lasting change.
RT offers a systemised intervention treatment protocol whoch works to support life changing positive results for clients suffering emotional distress, unwanted behaviours, rumination, depression, anxiety, addictive behaviours and PTSD

Integration comes from the word integer or intergratus - meaning to render something whole, to bring together the parts and “make whole, and complete.” The integration process psychotherapeutically is conducted in much the same way. It is about exploring the journey you have been on, and systematically working through ways to bring these new insights into your daily life.
The importance of integration is to build a deeper understanding of these parts of ourselves, not necessarily to fix them or change them, but to understand their function and role within who we are, and how we live. It is a process of becoming intimate with all areas of our life. Our true nature and power lies within our sense of wholeness.
Integrations sessions are for those who have experienced a non-ordinary state, or profound experience, and seeking to understand, make sense, discover the meaning of… how to embody these learnings and changes into their everyday life.

Mindfulness simply means “paying attention.”
The practice of learning mindfulness and meditation is a systematic process that teaches you how to come into present moment awareness. It is a tool for self-regulation and inquiry that is often characterised by an increase in curiosity, openness, and acceptance.
Research shows the practice of mindfulness and meditation is profoundly healing. It allows us to become more present with everything that is around us and happening within us. It is a practice that brings greater depth, understanding and insight of our own inner states and thus brings about a greater sense of self compassion, empathy and ease to our mind and everyday reality.
We practice mindfulness to build up concentration. Learning these skills and integrating them into your everyday life becomes an integral pathway that simultaneously compliments other psychological treatment. It is a process that assists us in dealing with feelings of judgement, fear, attachment, resilience, pain, acceptance, forgiveness and so much more. Book a session to begin your journey of coming into present moment awareness to live a more fulfilled joyful life.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious it will continue to direct your life and you will call it fate” – Carl Jung
Breathwork is an experiential activity that requires participants to hyperventilate whilst being supported closely by a skilled facilitator. In order for the experience to be of value it is vital that the space created allows you to feel free to express yourself either vocally or through physical body movement.
A breathwork experience will focus on the use of conscious-connected breath to release emotion that has been trapped in the body which often present as stress, tension and physical pain.
We encourage you to come with an open heart, open mind and let your breath take you on a journey deep inside to release and grow.
Dan’s introduction to Breathwork started on his travels around the world whilst in South America and India. His self exploration took him through endless personal journeys exploring the many styles of Breathwork from, Shamanic, Holotropic, Re-Birthing and more. These experiences in conjunction with his studies in psychology lead him to train as a ‘Breathwork Facilitator’ originally with Alchemy of Breath, then on to deepen his knowledge with amazing mentors and teachers from around the world with connections to Stan Grof, Dan Brule, The Buteyko Method, MDH Breathing Co-ordination, Wim-Hof and more. He also explored the Art and Science of Breathing with Exercise Physiologists, Free-diving Instructors, and Professional Singers in an effort to understand how the breath supports how we live, express and experience life.
Dan’s approach is founded on theories of Transpersonal Psychology, Integral Theory, Social Cognitive Theory and Mindfulness with his studies connecting him to prolific teachers such as Dan Brown, Ken Wilbur, Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
However despite all of this he is forever a student of the breath. Come experience the expanse and wisdom of your own breath as Dan brings these teachings together in a way for you to access the space within.
“The Breath is the greatest teacher…… and we are forever a student of the Breath!”

The power of sound is designed to be sonically multi-dimensional which creates a life affirming experience that focusses on self-transformation through conscious listening and breathing.
It has been hypothesised that the human body has an energy field surrounding it, and the vibrations of these instruments interact with this bio-field. Brain waves may be significantly altered during this time. Thus, brain waves may change from a normal or even agitated state (such as beta waves) to an exceptionally relaxed brain wave state (such as theta or even delta waves).
Experiencing a personalised sound experience provides a place to soften, rest and find centre again letting everything settle into its new form. From here the path forward emerges.
Dan will weave in chanting, drumming, medicine drums, didgeridoo, native-American flute, Handpan and specific crystal bowl frequencies, having you drift into alternate realities with the help of the resonance of 4 planet Gongs.
This sound healing tends to have an effect of vibrational attuning, a resetting and aligning of the body to a more balanced homeostatic state.
